Amazon.com preorder for Shout's Sci-Fi 4 Movie Marathon is up. Has this been announced already? Can't find anything on Shout's site about it. Movies are America 3000, Arena, Eliminators & The Time Guardians.

Looking good...looking good. I'm just waiting for Mutant Hunt or Necropolis to show up on one of these 4-Packs any time now.

I predicted Eliminators would be on one of these sets.

I'm so there. Fucking loved the action set.

That's awesome, pre-ordered! All four films are guilty pleasures of mine.

Some bad news on that SCIFI MOVIE MARATHON: Scream says only TIME GUARDIAN is widescreen, the others are ALL full frame. Only masters MGM had.

Disappointing for sure, but still... $10 for 4 movies is a great deal. Especially for flicks like this. Already placed my pre-order.

Oh boy, Power Rangers. Now I can finally stop collecting DVD's as that's all I've been waiting for

That is indeed a choice price for the Incredible Melting Man Blu - count me in!

In case they didn't announce enough stuff for July, Shout also have several super-cheap Western 4-packs coming!

Spaghetti Westerns (Shout Factory) includes A Pistol for Ringo, The Return of Ringo, Ringo: Face of Revenge, and Shoot, Gringo... Shoot!
DVD: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ag=cinema09-20

MORE Spaghetti Westerns (Shout Factory) includes Blood for a Silver Dollar, 10,000 for a Massacre, 7 Dollars on Red, and A Bullet for a Stranger
DVD: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ag=cinema09-20

Timeless Westerns (Shout Factory) includes Butch & Sundance: The Early Days, The Last Hard Men, Rio Conchos, and Take a Hard Ride
Blu: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ag=cinema09-20

I thought their Django releases were pretty good, so I grabbed the Spaghetti Westerns discs along with the Sci-Fi 4-pack, The Fog, Knightriders, The Incredible Melting Man, and Cohen & Tate. And I still want Kentucky Fried Movie and Heavy Traffic... Too much stuff!

EDIT: apparently the Timeless Westerns release is actually a blu!

Brief little DVD review of Cold Prey II

Quote:
Cold Prey II has been out in its native land since 2008 (!), and Shout Factory has finally brought it stateside with a solid DVD release that boasts a sleek anamorphic transfer and a dynamic 5.1 Norwegian track. The special features are sparse but interesting: there’s a trailer and seven deleted scenes, all of which are pretty well-suited for the cutting room floor. Some might call for a more robust set of features, but this is one of those cases where we should just be happy to finally have this gem. My only complaint is that Shout didn’t do us a solid by making it a double feature with Part III.

Really looking forward to this disc. I have it pre-ordered from Best Buy.

That’s a lot of bleeding walls, flies, demons, possessed family members in HD! More specifics (extras, street date, etc.) to emerge in the Summer.
