I've gotten some Howling and Ninja III shots posted on my Flickr account. I'm not sure if they compress them or anything on Flickr, but they were all a full 1-1.5 MB when I snapped the shots.

Here's the link, mostly Ninja III on page 1, Howling on 2:

**SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT!**

Let's start the week off right with news that John Carpenter's BODY BAGS will be unzipped and presented on blu-ray from us before 2013 closes.

Didn't see that one coming did you? That's all we can disclose at the moment. More details to be revealed in July/Aug.

Here in the UK, the only version released (on vhs) was the uncut version. When I brought the DVD from the US I was really disappointed at how much was cut.

Really cool to see what a nice widescreen version of Ninja III looks like after all these years. Thanks man.

Cliff stated on Facebook the their release of Body Bags will be the uncut version. By the way, you're all welcome. No need to thank me for this announcement. The reason it happened is because I literally JUST PAID $30 FOR THE FUCKING DVD YESTERDAY!!!!! AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!

That's always the way brother. I don't even want to begin to go into how many movies I've purchased that were out of print, hard to find, etc. that got special edition announcements the next day, two days later or in most cases - THE SAME FRIGGIN' DAY!

Nice to see the ball in someone else's court right now though, I must admit.

Yeah I hate too. I remember buying the soundtrack for Cats Don't Dance (my favorite animated film!) for 60 bucks and you know what? Worth it. My point is, I'd be ticked too if La-La Land Records were to announced an Expanded Archival Edition (yet at the same time excited). But it's like you want it now and you don't know if a new edition will ever arrive so you gotta take the chance.

Incidentally, seeing is how Scream Factory is sub-licensing Republic Films titles from Olive, they should look into getting Scanner Cop and Scanners: The Showdown (just to complete the set).

Also, here's the DVD Drive-In Review for Ninja III:

I know what you mean. I was so ready to pull the trigger on the MGM DVD-R or another region copy of Incredible Melting Man. So glad I waited. At this point, us fans need to wait on all releases. Shout Factory is on a roll.

Prince Of Darkness just announced:

Quote:
***BREAKING NEWS!***

Since we started this week with a John Carpenter film announcement (Body Bags) it is fitting with end it with another...The master's 1987 cult classic PRINCE OF DARKNESS - our #1 most requested title - will be coming this fall and presented as a Collector's Edition on DVD and Blu-ray!

We have no more details to report at this time (i.e. street date, extras, etc.) but will reveal more in the next few months. Have a great weekend!
