I was also one of the people who was introduced to this film on The Movie Channel, as well as a bunch of others that I would snatch up in a heartbeat if released on blu ray by reputable companies (Troma need not apply): Motel Hell, Frightmare, Blood Beach for starters. Both The Boogens and Death Valley were on this list too until recently. The Howling as well, but that has never been a hard one to find. I hope Scream Factory keeps pairing it down for me.

I love THE OUTING and HOSPITAL MASSACRE but I guess CRAWLSPACE gets extra consideration because of Klaus Kinski.

+1. The third film is actually very good but I think of it as a standalone horror film, not really connected to the original despite the few references (the drums of toxin, specifically). I have the DVD but don't really consider it an official part of my collection because of the edits. I'm thinking it had to be some kind of a rights issue because the studio has released unrated versions of other films.

Owned by Lionsgate.

Also, Cliff has stated on the Blu-ray.com forums that they couldn't get Army Of Darkness. Bummer right there.

He did state though that he will keep trying, so there is still hope!
