Well it's a classic and most member here actually love it. It's got a very 50's monster movie vibe to it which I think is wonderful.

It's definitely better than the new artwork that's going to be on the slip.

I like it too - got the advanced 1 sheet.

I like the movie. Tremendous gore effects from Tom Savini! I just don't like the poster. Like I said before the most bland one-sheet I've ever seen!

Hi,
Glad your enjoying the releases! Slipcovers come in finite numbers unfortunately, so you may be out of luck on that one. You might try sending an email to info@shoutfactory.com, but no guarantees they'll have extras on hand.
Hope you're enjoying the film!
Thanks
Shout
I am really pleased to read this. There should be a small perk for early adopters.

Just to follow up with this, someone on another forum mentioned they ordered Halloween III from ImportCDs and did not receive a slipcover. Also recall reading somewhere that someone received Halloween III from Best Buy without a slipcover.

So from the look of things, it sounds like they're running out of slipcovers for their earlier releases. As mentioned, most companies only do slipcovers for the first pressings.

I'm glad I got my blu-rays when I did, because so far I've gotten all the Scream Factory slipcovers.

I'd probably want to be a completest about it but the chain was broken when they neglected to have a slipcover for NINJA III.

Only the Collector's Editions have slipcovers.

Ninja III wasn't one. Death Valley, The Island, The Nest, TerrorVision / Video Dead, The Vampire Lovers, and The Town That Dreaded Sundown don't have them either.

I better get on the Howling soon then. I am not even big into slip covers but since all the others one I've bought have them - I wouldn't want one without. I am trying to be good and buy 1 movie a month. It is very, very difficult.

July

Black Sabbath

August

Crystal Lake Memories

September will have to be The Howling's month!

A local artist did a really great Day of the Dead poster recently that's for sale:

Much better than the Shout one in my opinion.

Well, looks like I'm just gonna forgo the Terror Train slipcover. I'm not returning it since I only paid $13 or $14 for it.

Hello,

We are sorry to hear about this.
It seems to be happening with a few online retailers. It’s difficult to control what they do with o-cards.
Honestly, you should return your product. We have no way for you to purchase the o-card from us.

The only way to guarantee you receive an o-card is to purchase from our site or find a retail store.

Sorry we cant be more help.

Thanks for being a fan!

It's still way too busy for me. I don't know why so many artists feel the need to use every square millimeter of the frame. Just can't help themselves I guess.

In regards to the slipcovers, Cliff has stated several times on Bluray.com that the slipcovers aren't limited. As long as the collector's editions will be released, they should include the slipcover.

If you arent getting them it's because some online retailers toss them. There have been reports of Amazon, Best Buy, ImportCDs, ect. doing this. Apparently just about every Barnes and Noble store does this as well.

Makes no sense to me as it's not like they add any more size or weight to the Bluray. I wonder if some of them get ruined in storage and rather then send a movie with a roughed up slipcover they just toss them and hope you don't notice. If you complain to Amazon they will let you exchange it for you, or I have even heard in some cases offer a few dollars discount.
