Shout are releasing The Eagle Has Landed (1976) as a Blu-ray + DVD Combo on October 15th: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Ea...Blu-ray/77217/

Definitely one of my favorite WWII movies to come out of the 1970's. This will be most welcome, since the USA never had a very good DVD release.

Pre-order here

There's another Scream Factory release slated for October 22nd, something called CHILLING VISIONS: 5 SENSES OF FEAR:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ag=cinema09-20

Anyone know anything about it? It's apparently an anthology.

According to IMDB, it's a horror anthology with five stories dealing with the five senses. The reviews on IMDB give a brief synopsis of each story.

Miko Hughes is directing one of the segments, his directorial debut. I'll probably check it out for that alone.

Can't say I'm impressed with the rest of the directors they got:
Eric England (Madison County, yawn)
Jesse Holland and Andy Mitton (YellowBrickRoad, awful)
Emily Hagins (Pathogen, My Sucky Teen Romance)
Nick Everhart (666: The Beast, 2012 Doomsday, Asylum fodder)

5 Senses of Fear was showing on Chiller Network a week or so back. I came in late but saw a couple segments. Pretty gory, from what I could tell. What I saw was decent but I don't know if I'd buy it. If you get Chiller they repeat things frequently.

The final season of Hey Dude is now up for order on the Shout Factory website. Another Shout Select, unfortunately. Release date is July 16th.

Does anyone know if Shout Factory combines shipping? I might have to go ahead and order seasons 4 & 5.

I hate that Shout Factory gets so wonky when it comes to TV shows. I had to buy the complete series of Rocko's Modern Life just to get season four, even though I had already bought the previous seasons. Looks like they're doing that with Angry Beavers and Aaahh!!! Real Monsters too. At least they're doing a good job with their Scream Factory line.

Nice! I'm just glad it's finally coming out...and I just placed my order.

I am fairly sure they do combine shipping... but with pre-orders I believe they all will then ship together whenever the pre-release comes out.

Wow, perfect timing! DeepDiscount has Hey Dude: Season 4 (a Shout Select release) in stock for $14.51, $5 less than the Shout Factory website.

I used the $5 off $25 coupon to order that along with Scorpion's Tower Of Evil blu-ray (which is $5 cheaper than my Amazon pre-order).

Total came to $25.94!

I hope DeepDiscount gets season 5 as well!

saw some of Amityville II on Comcast HD free movies today, it looks really good in HD, iam quessing the blu ray will look good too, but just not into this movie. It has too many realistic scenes of family and child abuse. Iam sure this movie could never be made today. Man, they got away with some stuff back in the early 80's..

Well, DeepDiscount cancelled my Hey Dude order.

But it's still showing Tower Of Evil at a discount (only $3 off though) and with free shipping. So that's good, I guess.

Yeah, but can't wait for this one Thanks for reminding us, Shout Factory is the Anchor Bay of the early 2000's. Hope they keep it coming.
And here's hoping they release Werewolf the TV series if they ever get the rights to the music from those greedy assholes!
