I used to be like that but I don't have the room to buy stuff I don't like anymore

Yikes. That cover must be like looking into a Lasek lense. Shout continues to prove that you can't judge a book (or in this case a blu-ray) by it's cover. I will still be preordering this.

Out of all of the films out there this is one that I always felt could do with a remake. It just never lived up to it's potential. But they should have done it 5 to 10 years ago because I really think that the zombie genre is very played out now. They waited too long.

Good point. The only thing holding this film back in my opinion is the hideous ending.

I quite like the cover. Very retro, especially with the highscore thing in the background.

Yeah I liked it but didn't love it. I expected much more from it. Maybe on second viewing and without any expectations I may enjoy it a little more.

Here it is people. Shocktillyoudrop.com is tweeting from SDCC and here's what they're reporting Scream Factory's upcoming releases will be:

Assault on Precinct 13 (1976)
Cat People (1982)
Darkman (1990)
Eve of Destruction (1991)
Saturn 3 (1980)

And the big announcement is.... Nightbreed: The Cabal Cut (they literally closed the deal on it today)

Yeah, kind of a let down in my opinion. I know a lot of people were waiting on Nightbreed so that's cool for them, but I was never a huge fan of it. I'll probably double dip on Assault on Precinct 13 if the extras are good, but other than that, I'm not excited for any of these. So underwhelming. They waited for Comic Con to reveal these?! I'm more excited for Synapse's simple Facebook reveals of Curtains and Prom Night.

Yawn. Aside from Cat People, I'll probably pass.

And as mentioned, this announcement is especially weak in the wake of Synapse's recent announcement.

Really excited for their November releases though (Body Bags, The Horror Show, Night Of The Comet)!

I would love to see the artwork/specs for Body Bags. They should have that info by now.
