Can't wait for Nightbreed and Cat People.

Why Assault on Precinct 13? The Image BD was pretty damn good. Unless Shout! gets some new interviews with JC or something I'll probably pass on that one. The rest I will pick up.

Just left the panel. The above list is correct, but they also mentioned a "Terror on TV " series beginning with The Initiation of Sarah and Are You In the House Alone". If it does well, they'll move to acquire other 70s and 80s titles.

There's other titles they're working on, but can't make the announcements official yet

Now that I think about it, the Image release of Assault on Precinct 13 was pretty damn good. I was really hoping for Pumpkinhead, Legend of Boggy Creek, Motel Hell or Deranged. What a let down. It's like meeting a beautiful girl in a bar, taking her home and finding out she has a dick. Damn.

Wasn't Deranged already mentioned? Or did Arrow announce that one?

Arrow announced it for a August 12 release.

Ok, you're right, maybe not that life altering, but seeing as how they literally waited for center stage to announce these titles, I was expecting something that I didn't get

I'm more excited for this than tonight's blu-ray announcements, even though House isn't really a horror movie at all.

I hope it sells well, because this could open the door to some great made-for-TV releases.

The Inititation of Sarah is one of my most wanted titles on Bluray. Figures this company would release a DVD only double feature. Oh, how I hate them.

Only one that interests me on those blu announcements is Cat People - hope they do a good job on the transfer for that one

I totally agree. I may buy multiple copies just to boost sales so we'll see future releases. Though I remember being very disappointed in "Are You In The House Alone?" when I saw it as a teen, thinking it was going to be a scary stalker movie. "Midnight Offerings" would have been a much better choice to pair with "Sarah" but I'm sure it's all about what they can license.

I asked Scream on Facebook if the titles they announced will be on both formats. They responded:

"Darkman, Cat People, Assault and Eve will be Blu-ray only."

So good news for those who have a Blu-ray player, bad news for those that don't.
