Already picked Ninja III up for over $20 () when it first came out, but just to show support toward getting more rare action stuff on Blu-ray and DVD, I picked up a couple more copies at the $8.99 price point, to use as Christmas presents for friends.

I'm actually very interested in seeing the IV-VIII sequels get some sort of set together. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard since LG once had the latter 5 or so at the same time. After Linkara's reviews, I really want to see Escapes, Curse, Generation, and Dollhouse. A lot! I don't think even Netflix Watch Instant has any of them. And, bad as it is in moments, the majority of It's About Time was superior to the original film. I've always wanted to see that sequel get some shiny Dimension-like release. Of course, since they're forking all their stuff over to Echo Bridge, I gather the future for the other sequels is pretty pathetic if existent at all.

I ordered a copy of Ninja III. I was curious and $8.99 seems a good price point to check it out. Thanks for the head's up!

My opinion on Psycho III has upgraded over the last few years; more often than not, Roger Ebert's pretty reliable and he really saw something in this film. It's not quite brilliant but not only is it stylish, it's also remarkably sleazy without being irritating, the music score is awesome and creepy, and the Italian influence is all over the place. Especially in the car underwater and telephone booth scenes. The performances are just about all defunct as a group but if you can get around that, this thing has legs I didn't know about.
