really looking forward to this. Pumped to see what extras will be on it, maybe they will do a horror's hallowed ground for it. I do enjoy the sequels so I hope they get released too. I would bet that it will be a good selling blu so maybe that will help push them to do the sequels. Like somebody else said, I hope they don't do the sequels as a boxset only and release it AFTER they release the first one.

I agree with both statements. Sleepaway Camp is a classic. I was never a completist, so I won't miss the sequels.

I know - I love 2 and 3 even more than 1 but 1 is fun too but I can't get enough of Pam Springsteen's cheeky performance in the sequels.

Nice bit of extras for Witchboard - surprised they are not marketing it as a Collector's Edition release.

Although I gave the news of it coming out a YAWN I'll probably buy it since Sleepaway Camp is awesome.

Same. The only thing I really like about the sequels is that they are sequels to SC which I love. They do have their moments but nothing touches the early 80's slasher charm of the original.

I couldn't care about the SC sequels as I can't sit through them; the original is definitely welcomed to blu though. Good news!

The Sleepaway Camp announcement made my day. It's one of my favorite horror movies, I just love how much personality it has -- so much crazy in that movie. The DVD is old as dirt so a fresh transfer will rule, seeing the uncut print will be fresh too. Can't wait for an extras list, I hope they track down a lot of those cooks who starred in the film. Mind over matter!!!

My decision to buy Sleepaway Camp again is going to be dependent on whether or not it's going to be a big improvement visually as the old AB DVD looks like shit and there may not be much Shout can do about it. I don't care much about it being uncut as we're only talking about 15 seconds of "snips" put back in. If Shout has access to the original negative then this will start to sound interesting to me but I've never read anything on good materials being available for this film so Shout will have their work cut out for them trying to make it look good. I hope things turn out well.

Just watched my DVD of NotD last week, I will definitely be upgrading to BD. It's been a year or so since viewing my SC DVD, but I see a BD upgrade on that in my future as well. Thanks Shout, now I don’t have to wonder what to spend my money on.

Just letting everyone know but there's a commentary track by the director on Catacombs (All Night Horror Marathon Volume 2)

It's not listed on the case or anywhere online. A nice surprise.

I noticed that too, but I'm almost wary to sit through it. His "solo" commentary track on the Tourist Trap DVD was one of the most boring I've ever listened to. If you sit through it on this disc, lemme know if it's worth it.

The Dungeonmaster (a.k.a. Ragewar) also got a nice new 16x9 transfer...and uncut! + a remastered 16x9 trailer.
