Nice, Nosferatu just in time for my birthday. I hope they're doing a whole Herzog push in May, I can put it all on my wishlist.

Hmm, what's included in the Martial Arts Movie Marathon? I don't recall hearing anything about that one before now...

From Scream's Facebook:

"SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE fans will be happy to know that our new HD film transfer brings back the original title treatment in the opening credits that many questioned about when it wasn't on the prior Roger Corman's Cult Classic DVD release.

Our Blu-ray releases on 3/17. And, trust us, the picture quality is a significant improvement over the DVD. "

Ravenous announced via Scream on Facebook!:

"*BREAKING!* We know you guys have been hungry for a new title announcement from us for awhile...so here's one to satisfy your appetite... RAVENOUS - the 1999 cannibal film starring Guy Pearce, David Arquette and directed by Antonia Bird - will be coming to blu-ray for the first time come this June with all-new extras planned! No other details to report at this time. But check back here in next few months for more updates on this exciting project. The original theatrical poster key art will be used as artwork (as seen here). How many fans of this film do we have out there?"

Awesome news! I have heard nothing but good things about this one and I'm a huge fan of Guy Pierce. I actually own this on DVD but never got around to watching it, and I when I heard how bad the DVD looked I hoped for a Blu-ray from Scream. I can't wait!

I think he's referring to the David Arquette connection, but hard to say... his role in Ravenous is pretty small. If he's expecting Ravenous to be anything like Scream... he's in for a wake-up call.

To those whining about the '90s announcements, their loss. A good movie is a good movie, regardless of the year it was made.
