I like that cover, especially since Shout Factory tends to do a reversible cover with new artwork on one side and the older art work on the reverse. Looking forward to hearing about some special features.

I usually like Nathan's art, but can't say I'm a fan of this one. Doesn't really capture the feel of the movie to me. Plus, the placement of Angela's head looks very awkward.

Yup, I remember being all excited when this hit the theaters- until I actually went and saw it. I don't remember it being horrible, but just kinda mediocre.

i think WITHOUT the head, it's a fantastic piece of art. I think they really missed an opportunity there. all their newly commissioned art features the faces of people in the movie. its gotten pretty old, and it's totally unnecessary. especially in this case. I like the colours, the design of the blood flowing from the cabins (inspired by the flowing river of blood on The Burning cover?), and the dead guy at the bottom. The headless torso holding the knife and the bow are good too (although possibly unnecessary as well). but the head is completely out of place, and awkward like you said. If they were to reconsider and have the same art, but without her head, I think they'd have a real winner.

... however, I do agree with the strange placement of Angela's head. It's like she hiding the... you know...

Agree…love it minus the floating head. I’ve had this pre-ordered for a while, can’t wait.

Definitely interested in this…will wait on the reviews. The cover art is awful though…check the link.

^ I really liked Beneath, and it will be the first of Scream Factory's Chiller TV releases that I'm buying.

It's a little corny, unbelievable, and the characters make some extremely poor decisions. But if you can overlook that stuff and just enjoy it as the goofy little creature feature that it is, I thought it was really fun with some unexpected twists toward the end. Plus, the creature is mostly practical, so it isn't littered with CGI. Reminded me a lot of "The Raft" from Creepshow 2.

I like the Sleepaway Camp cover art. It appears that maybe the floating head of Angela was put there for those who are not familar with the movie. If I had never seen Sleepaway Camp and looked at the cover,
Spoiler:
I may expect that Angela is the target of the killer and not the homicidal chick with a dick that she is!

Either way, the poster at least doesn't give away the "real" shock at the end.
