I think I read over at AVManiacs that only Part 3 would be Fullscreen.
Cliff Mac posted this: There are some great extras... and they'll be some new transfers. I did the SLUMBER II transfer last night. New Anamorphic transfer from the IP. and this: A question was asked if all three would be Anamorphic: Not the third film. The third one's master is unrated and if we went back to the film elements, I couldn't be sure that i'd be able to rebuild the uncut version since all the elements in the vault appear to be the theatrical version. Their run times don't match. Last edited by Chomp; 08-13-2010 at 04:26 PM. |

So does this mean the third one will be unrated, or no?

I'm ok with the third being fullscreen as long as it's the uncut version. And it is so Coolio.

Thank you sir!
Glad to hear that because I think I might just hold on to the old discs instead of upgrading.

I'm curious to what happened to those original extras on the SPM set (the commentary track etc.)
Those extras sounded fantastic. Looking forward to the documentary but interested in why the commentaries were dropped. |

I'd say the main draw would be the extras which sound pretty cool and whether or not you care about SPM2 being in widescreen. Shout has been providing some amazing transfers with the other Corman titles so the 3 SPM films might be getting a significant PQ improvement. For now it's a really good price ($19) at Amazon.

i have no doubts about shout factory's dedication to their product, after seeing what they've done with the other corman titles. im confident that what we get will be the best that they can give.

No trailers? So lame. No reason to "upgrade" from my R2 discs.
