I'd rather a Blu of just the first one. But I get it, economics. 3 is really fun as well, mind you.

According to Tony Brown of the (un)official SPM fansite, there is no uncut version of SPM 2. It all has to do with simply incorrect running times listed for foreign versions of the movie.
So there you go. My copy should be shipping soon. Can't wait to watch all 3 films again. |

That's what I've been saying all along. You could see there was nothing cut in SPM 2-no cutaways from the drilling, etc. It was easily the bloodiest of the 3,with nasty,un-flinching little bits like the evisceration of Courtney's boyfriend.
The difference in running times is nothing new for VHS (or DVD for that matter).

Listened to the commentary track for Part 2 last night and was disappointed. Not a terrible track but too many gaps of silence throughout.
And Avmaniacs review is wrong on who is on the track. According to them-Deborah Brock, producer Don Daniel, story editor Beverly Grace, and actress Juliette Cummins and moderator Tony Brown on the track. Not only is Juliette Cummins nowhere on the disc, only Deborah Brock, Don Daniel and Tony Brown are on the track. Some interesting info on it but too much silence for me. |
