Gator Bait got me fired from one of my first jobs.
I was doing the video rentals at Kroger's Grocery store when they were trying that shit out. So one Friday night I close the store, but I'm on to open it at noon the next day.

So I grab either Gator Bait or GB2 and take it home to check out, figuring it's a perk and no harm. The next day my manager sees me bring it back and fires me for theft. I explain "look, I closed last night, no one could rent while closed, and I'm opening now, what's the big deal". He was a dick and it was a big deal, fucker even called the cops on me. At least they had common sense and didn't arrest me, just escorted me off the property.

After all this all I can recall of the film was thinking that chick is hot and this movie sucks, but I'd be down to revisit it all these years later.

My assumption is that Shout's releases have exposed some people like myself to Claudia Jennings for the first time. Seeing her in one film will make just about any red-blooded male want to track down more.

I just thought since Anchor Bay is releasing Fire on The Amazon (uncut), do you think they've aquired any other Corman titles or just that one? Something for us to think about. Anyway, here's some Shout! TV DVD News:

Is it going to be different than the NR New Concorde release from 2000?

I sure wish someone would pick up Sorceress (1982)

No kidding. I still can't believe that's not been released on DVD anywhere officially.

The Video Rental department at Kroger- one of the worst jobs I've ever had. Not only did we have to deal with lines of impatient screaming assholes (we were located in a very rough part of town), we also had to wait on the cigarette and the perfume/cosmetic counter as well. Absolutely horrid. Many Krogers managers are dicks. I'll verify that!

I'd forgotten about this show, but seeing screen shots was like a wave hitting me and I must have seen just about every episode. Mighty tempting now to get it.
