They have said in the past that it will definitely be on blu-ray, however I don't believe they have announced a date yet. |

God I hope they get ahold of The Burning. Please for the love of Christ, Shout, make this happen.

Thank you, CPT HOOK - I will keep my fingers crossed, then! I have been following Shout Factory on facebook, but I hadn't caught the bit about them announcing a new title every Friday - really something to look forward to! As is Deadly Blessing on blu, so thanks for filling me in.

When you consider the titles Scream Factory announced last Friday--TerrorVision and The Nest--it doesn't really give me the feeling that they got any of the big name stuff. My thinking is that MGM held onto The Fog, The Howling, and Scanners. Even movies like The Burning, From Beyond, Lifeforce, and Pumpkinhead--these probably aren't going to Scream/Shout. Another reason I say this, MGM just released Killer Klowns from Outer Space themselves--so I just can't see them handing over high profile stuff. (Of course, I could be completely fucking wrong, but whatever. We'll see in the coming weeks.
)With all that in mind, this is my short wishlist: Arena (1989) The Barbarians (1987) Cellar Dweller Dark Angel aka I Come in Peace Hell Squad (1986) Highway to Hell (1991) Hospital Massacre New Year's Evil Prison (1988) Steel and Lace Too Scared to Scream The Town that Dreaded Sundown The Video Dead I'm not even sure if MGM would let Scream Factory release legit versions of their MOD DVD-R titles--but I know I'd rather spend $20 on a New Year's Evil blu-ray versus $20 for a fucking DVD-R.

Highway to Hell and Hospital Massacre would be sweet.
And for some strange reason my sixth sense tells me The Video Dead will be on its way via Shout!. I can feel it. |

If they're dipping into the DVD-Rs (The Island was originally released as one), then I'd vote for Modern Girls or Spellbinder over New Year's Evil.

YES!!!
Terrorvision is one of my all-time faves! I discovered this on late-night local TV in the early '90s. I tried to tape it, but missed the beginning. Still, I watched it many times. Years later, I got a used VHS. I've recently seen it in widescreen on TCM and Netflix. Thank you, Shout! This had better be on Blu!!! Primo picture for the Pleasure Dome! "Remember kids, you do your thing and we do ours." "I'm just taking care of business here!" "Pills? What color?" "War stories and monster movies are educational. They're survival-oriented. They always neutralize the enemy in the end." "A soldier. What a manly profession. Raping and pillaging, creating life and taking it away, like the gods of the ancient Greeks." This is a day-one preorder for me, along with whatever exclusive swag Shout! offers on their website. Rape me and pillage me, Shout! Take my money!! Just give me my Terrorvision on Blu-ray!!! Release date anyone? "C'mon c'mon c'mon!"

Anyone who is a fan of TerrorVision should pick up the excellent book Destroy All Movies. It has a nice little spread on the film, including interviews with Mary Woronov and Jon Gries.

I'm so stoked for THE NEST and PRISON it's ridiculous. I don't understand the love for TERRORVISION at all, but whatevs, we all have our faves!
I almost bought the AWE import of PRISON from Diabolik DVD literally last week -- glad I second guessed it!
