The Arrow release has a choice of 4 covers:

Original drooling mouth
Clown Jack-in-a-box
New Art
Original Spanish art

...And Scream Factory just revealed that From Beyond on their facebook page! I'm sure that makes a lot of fans very happy, and I'll probably upgrade myself. But I would much rather have had The Burning.

If you're into extra inserts, covers and funky material it's pretty hard to get better than any Arrow release.

As for From Beyond i haven't even opened my standard DVD yet - yeeesh!

I'm down for both! The nice thing about this new weekly announcement deal scream is doing is that if you're a little disappointed in what's coming, there's always next week to look forward to. Keep those fingers crossed for your most wanted! I wonder just how long they plan on keeping the weekly announcements up? Did they really get a TON of MGM titles in this deal or what?

My DVD of the Howling has laser rot so I'm hoping for a new release soon.

Not a big fan of FROM BEYOND. Glad it's out of the way, though. I think it's safe to say that DOLLS isn't too far behind since there are already 3 other Empire titles coming our way. Dolls is more fun IMO.

I agree. The MGM HDTV version of "Dolls" looked amazing

I've watched mine once. It's nice that it is hitting blu-ray and I do like the film, but this one is a pretty low priority for me.

i feel the same. i rewatched it just a few weeks ago, actually. second time viewing it since i purchased it years ago. its a good movie, no doubt. but not one i'm falling over myself in excitement to upgrade. the mgm release was a pretty solid special edition, and it looked pretty good upscaled on my 50" plasma. there are other scream factory titles i'll be more likely to buy.

I picked up Terror Train and The Funhouse yesterday. Suspect Video had them out early. Haven't watched The Funhouse yet, but I skimmed through Terror Train and it looks really natural and film like. It has some nice grain, still not as clean as Halloween II and III (white specks pop up here and there) but there's a major leap in image quality when compared to the Fox DVD from years back.

Just to think...Terror Train used to be such a rare and sought-after title and now it's available on fuckin' BLU-RAY. Who knew...

The Shout release has the original jack-in-the-box on the reverse, the drooling mouth art on the actual disc plus the new art. It's a nice-looking package.

Big fan of From Beyond but not upgrading for the Shout's edition. Perfectly happy with the one I have.
