For some reason, all I can think of is TCM: The Next Generation with some production value...

All the speculations so far have been wrong. The script has some potential but as the movie goes on it gets more and more into the WTF territory... it's pretty much given lots of people would be put off by the movie's plot... no suprise it's been in limbo for so long. Let's just say it takes all the subgenre clichés and tropes and gives them a bigger purpose to be there in the first place.

Not a fan of the whole government conspiracy / underground lab nonsense. Just give me a damn "cabin in the woods" flick!

Look forward to "The Corridor" then, great film that IFC Midnight picked up recently.

This looks very promising, with this & Avengers coming out. I'm hoping Joss doesn't let me down.

After a 4 or 5 year wait I was expecting the worst, But the trailer makes it look promising.

It looks really good, nice to see something original for once. On the other hand I'm slightly disappointed it is nothing like the Evil Dead which is the vibe I got from the original poster. I guess we have the Evil Dead remake to look forward to... or not to look forward to for that matter.

I think we should split up
Can't wait for the DVD. No really, my local cinema stopped playing horror films in earnest about ten years ago. Do 'tweens and teens no longer watch horror films? That's the only reason I can think of - pure dollars. |
