Finally got to see this tonight and have to agree with the above.

Really surprised to see all the positive comments on here, I thought this was terrible... everything from the editing and music to the acting, characters and script was truly awful. I'll give it 3/10 'cause the basic idea had potential, a shame it was so poorly executed though.

Wow... I'd hate to see what rating you'd give a film that TRULY was poorly executed.

Haha, OK, a fair point... I guess I could give an extra point for production values and the handful of nicely setup shots and so stretch to 4/10, but really this movie failed at almost every level for me so is barely worthy of being categorised above those worthless, zero budget movies you're talking about.

It's been a while since I felt the need to forward through a movie but I did numerous times with this one, that kinda says it all. If it hadn't been for the mildy interesting "reveal" that I knew was coming at the end I'd have switched it off after about 30 mins and watched something else instead.

I liked all of it - the ending I was a little meh on but the more I thought about it I really didnt expect that to happen which I think is what they were going for- just seems so far the blu ray is awful expensive even on Amazon - holding off to see if the steel book in the uk will be region free or not

appears the R1 blu ray w/digital copy is down to 19.96 on Amazon now - every time I looked earlier it was still around 30 - most of the forums feel the steel book will be region locked since it is lionsgate releasing it - so i guess ill pass on that since I can see myself taking this movie to a friends house to watch

I agree with you. I thought it had tremendous promise which degenerated into a weird cross between Evil Dead, generic zombie/hillbilly movies and a hipster, yuppie sitcom.
I found nothing remotely scary about this and the forced attempts at humor did little for me either.
It was not the worst film I've seen by a long shot, but I find its awesomeness has been blown out of proportion and it's sorely overrated.

Anyone find it strange that the lenticular cover basically spoils the movie?
