I'm getting Night of the Hunter on Blu-ray for sure. A no-brainer upgrade there.

If only that was all I had to blow to get this stuff, it would be nice.

I've had the Antichrist Criterion pre-ordered on Amazon for a bit, and nice to finally see the release confirmed.

Modern Times is my absolute favorite Chaplin film and I will have to add this to my collection eventually.

That box set is amazing. I need an upgrade from my VHS copy of The Last Picture Show and I love all the Rafelson stuff. Head is one weird but cool little film. It all sounds amazing. I'm pretty surprised that Criterion is getting to license some of these titles.

Barnes & Noble usually has a 50% off Criterion sale the week of Black Friday. These should be released just in time!

Yeah, the BBS set looks amazing. All those films are classics, nice to see even the obscure ones like The King of Marvin Gardens getting some love. I'm excited for A Safe Place, too, which is the only one I haven't seen. Wows on getting the rights to Modern Times and The Night of the Hunter. Criterion has been rocking, lately.

night of the hunter on criterion blu ray? i can actually feel tears welling up.

and i thought paths of glory was a big deal. if any movie ever deserved a criterion disc, its night of the hunter. and that bbs box set looks like some fan-boys wet dream of what an ideal criterion release would look like. is this the silver lining of the recession? big name studios are once again willing to license out the titles that they've beat into the ground?

antichrist confirmed? hallelujah!

i've never seen any chaplin films, but i guess this is where i'll start.

...fucking amazing...just amazing...night of the hunter. wow.

I suspect there will be more Chaplin to follow so I'll hold off on that one to see if there's rumbles for a boxset.

Night of the Hunter will be a must get.

More Criterion announcements for February over at blu-ray.com.

I'm excited for The Double Life of Veronique blu-ray!

I've heard great things about Fish Tank, I will have to check that one out.
