Eh, maybe. I'm not really too familiar with the guy, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. For me though, Doug will always be the quintessential Pinhead.

Why are they replacing pinhead? Does Doug have something better going on or does the new kid director think Doug looks too old to play the prince of pain?

Doug Bradley has essentially told them to piss off because he doesn't believe they're really making this movie for the right reasons. That makes me wonder just how bad it's going to be, consideirng how he came back for those last two.

Would it really be THAT hard to use a NEW cenobite, one we haven't seen? I mean, I've always been under the assumption that there are dozens of Cenobites roaming around hell playing with the pleasure and pain of hapless victims.....but, of course, it HAS to be Pinhead.....

We're entering Creepshow 3 territory in terms of how awful this film is going to be.

Nope, it's a sequel. I believe Doug Bradley was asked to partake, but declined. I'm also under the impression that Clive Barker is to be involved with the reboot.

Another review:
http://www.shocktillyoudrop.com/news...s.php?id=18507 If Doug was in it, it would've been a little better.

I wish I could believe that but I highly doubt it. They did this one out of obligation than out of love. |
