Franchise Revival You Want the Least

As of late, many of the old legends have gone back to the pot to warm up old, long dead franchises. Most have been met with mixed results. Which theoretical franchise revival do you want to see the least?

I'm dreading a revival of the Back to the Future series. You know it's coming too. The first film was a classic, but I saw it so many times, I can't watch it anymore. I could never dig the other two. Anyway, the remakes will be dreadful.

Hrm, I would welcome all of these, really. Would I be super pumped for all of them? No. So I guess if I were to answer which one I would expect the least from, it would be Argento.

Are they really priming the Exorcist for another go-round? Come on... the first one is a classic and the third was a good entry (though mostly unrelated to the prior films) but here we are 1 dud and 2 crappy prequels later.

I voted for Texas Chainsaw, because didn't we already have a 'reboot' of that just a few years ago? Actually, aside from Alien, I have pretty much zero interest in any of those listed. Are some of them really being rebooted, like Childs Play and Exorcist?

We've had enough Exorcism related films in recent memory...
I don't think there is too much more to be done on that topic in this era.
As such, my obvious vote is obvious.

Argento's pretty much lost it this decade. The third film in the series didn't work as it is. I really don't wanna see Suspiria and Inferno shit on with remakes.

Have very little in seeing any more of Romero's Dead films.

Also couldn't care less about new Hellraiser or Phantasm films ... The revival of Alien also makes me want to cry.

On the flip side, I'd LOVE to see Carpenter do more apocalyptic stuff. And if Argento does another Mother film, I'm totally there even though I loathed Mother of Tears ...

Voted for Argento. Couldn't care less for Scream - the remakes will be as crappy as the original anyway....

Although I have a fond attachment to most of these franchises, I can't say I'm thrilled about a reboot/sequel to any of them. And voting on this is really futile, Hollywood will get their hands most, if not all, of these sooner or later.

I think you could easily argue for a moratorium for ANY of these franchises (except Polanski's). But I'd kill Romero's dead series. I just don't connect with what he's doing these days. I'd be happy to see him mine other subjects. But I'm not interested in future zombie offerings.
