Probably about 30 or so for me. That's if you count stuff that I've never seen before only. It's been a rough year for me and for some reason watching movies has taken the back burner.

320 for me this year. I discovered my local network of libraries and the thousands of DVDs I now have access to for free. So I am able to catch up on all the Criterion and foreign films i hesitated to buy.

Total guess but right around one a week sounds pretty sensible from my viewing in the last year.. certainly down a bit from previous years.

It always averages around 300-370 a year, and last year felt average.
I expect more this year with the Pistons being sucky and hard to watch, although they keep making more addicting TV shows like Gold Rush and Auction Wars and Pawn Stars. Plus Hardcore Pawn, I've already seen 5 friends on there (yeah I know the dude who was trying to sell the speakers and came off looking like a retard, and the dude who makes the puppets is a friend, probably explains a lot). I watch about 2 movies every night, maybe 3 per night during weekends.
So I guess I watched something between 500-600 movies in 2010. And, yes, I also have a life outside the hometheater ![]() Always helps to have a girlfriend who also is a movie buff

Definitely between 50-99 for me. It's been a very busy, stressful, and super productive year for me, and my movie watching was one of the first things to take a hit when my time started getting tied up.

222 (not including films watched while listening to a commentary track)
This was quite a change for me. I doubt I watched 200 films in the entire decade of the 90's. Before 2009 a typical year for me would be maybe 30, but I certainly didn't track them. Last edited by crikan; 01-17-2011 at 02:20 PM. |

yeah, thats just cheating. if i included all the commentaries i watched (or included individual episodes of tv shows, as my wife suggested i do) my stats would be insanely inflated. gotta keep my integrity!

I've definitely been compelled to watch more movies since I started Tracking here.
I hate to leave blank spots on my page!

0-9 for me.the movie industry is dying with bad movies (im freakin' tired of remakes and re-imaginings) and i wasn't in the mood of watching old favorites since here in Chile we had to endure an earthquake and a tsunami.speaking of which, Eli Roth is currently producing a movie about that event, I think it will be called Aftermath (hope it will be any good).

2010 - 217
2009 - 218 Looks like I watched 217 movies last year, one less than 2009. Damn, I thought it would have been higher, but it has been a busy year. I am starting strong this year though, already at 15 movies. |
