Pq's decent enough, though all 3 are full frame. No extras save Katarina's intro segments, but they're pretty cheap right now. Double exposures 2.35:1 with 2 audio commentaries and an interview

The hostess' really aren't a factor for me, I picked up Haunted, Vampire at Midnight and Love me Deadly/Campus Corpse and wasn't really impressed by any of them. Thoroughly boring even for schlock, and I love schlock!

On amazon.co.uk you can find a scan of the back cover of the DVD. But this scan differs from the backcover of the DVD I bought back then. The list on amazon.co.uk does not mention the deleted scenes or the uncensored "Bloody Shower" secene. The back of my DVD looks the same, but it mentions these extras. Does anyone know if there are two versions out there or if the scan just came from a promo version?

I also have the UK edition, which is fairly cheap to get, and my back cover is also different from the one that is listed on Amazon UK. I think you are right when you say it was just a promo version, or maybe a WIP version.

Also, the uncensored "Bloody Shower" Scene is not on the disk. On the deleted scenes we get an alternate TV-Version of the "Bloody Shower" Scene with no nudity.

The uncensored "Bloody Shower" Scene may be an hidden extra but the only hidden thing I could find was the original BBFC X certificate video.

I have the R2 DVD of Death Ship also, but I might double dip...especially if the transfer is improved upon. That's probably unlikely unless they've had luck locating a better print, but here's hoping.

I kind of doubt the Scorpion DVD will offer the uncompressed PCM audio track or the optional subtitles, but hopefully they'll supply some extras.

But it could be a deal like Satan's Blood, which didn't port over the old extras, etc..

I saw Death Ship multiple times as a kid and loved it. (And it really is the kind of horror movie you can let kids watch - there's no monsters and no "boogeymen" to give them nightmares.) But as an adult it doesn't quite hold up, so I'd rent it beforehand if you can. It tends to polarise people - you either have fond childhood memories or it will bore you to tears!
