The list of "Coming soon" titles on the Katarina line is getting smaller and smaller. Right now the only titles left on their website are are Incubus, Human Experimnets and The Return. Incubus is slated for January if rumors are true. The website hasn't been updated for a while since it still lists Ator as coming soon. I don't get why some companies don't update their official websites regularaly. Is the line coming to an end?

Scorpion had been saying for a while that AMERICAN NIGHTMARE would not only be presented fullscreen but also that it'll be from a video master. Expect something like Humongous - a harsh, digital video-y look. Not sure about the OAR for the film but my guess is it wasn't shot in "scope" so any picture loss should be minimal.

Initially I was a little put off by this as well, but looking back at my old VHS I can see that the framing on the top and bottom is fairly loose, so likely the film was always presented open matte and this DVD will not change that. I think it might look better with theatrical 1.85:1 framing, but beggars and choosers and all that...

Thier main sites is updated though, withnew stuff added in other catagories, and titles that could have fallen into the Katarina banners are all under coming soon. Perhaps they are dropping the line? Or she didn't renew? She didn't renew her work on TNA so it could be she decided to pursue other interest?

Are you calling Katarina herself ugly? Or the films itself? Or the transfers, even though most of them look really nice to fantastic IMHO, except for the ones with disclaimers which are very few.

incubus was filmed in septmeber and october of 1980.. and released to theaters around august of 82..
