I'd love for the lion attack film Savage Harvest with Tom Skerritt to finally be released. Don't think this announcement is referencing it though, it's never been on DVD before, or VHS as far as I know.

^ Nice! Always wanted to see this one. Also been hoping for Trapped, the 1973 killer-dog TV-movie with James Brolin.
Will probably skip Day Of The Animals and Grizzly (I own the Media Blasters triple-feature), but I will definitely be picking this one up! |

I love my Deadly Animals (or whatever it's called) triple feature so I won't be getting the new editions of Grizzly and Day of the Animals.

Because they look just fine to me on the Media Blasters set. No need to upgrade if I'm happy with what I got.

They're not films I watch over and over anyway, so upgrading to blu-ray isn't really necessary. Definitely not worth an additional $15 - $20 per film. |

Sorry to hear you are not interested in upgrading. You do know the Media Blasters DVD of DAY OF THE ANIMALS is very flawed, with wrong aspect ratio (matting of a pan and scan master on one version) and the main version is from a very beat up print with drained colors instead from the original pre-print elements?

I'm in for all of the Blu-rays, I usually find myself buying most Scorpion releases that come out.
And yeah, the Media Blasters Day of the Animals release is crappy. It's great to hear that the transfer will be improved upon.

I actually like the beat up print of Day of the Animals. Gives it a great drive in feel.
The pan n scan one....yeah. Who knows I want snag them both up in the future. But right now I'm happy with what I got. |

Hopefully we will get reversible covers with the original coverart like Shout does. Didn't like the artwork in the "Day of the Animals" announcement.

You'll probably get reversible cover art but these are likely under the "Katrina" banner, so it will be the same artwork just one side without the Katrina info on it.

I'm all about the Grizzly Blu - love that flick. Day of the Animals probably not.
