Don't search the maze unless you want to:
Having an index makes the disc much easier to navigate!

Great news on the BD's having some features, and the video is a welcome shock since almost ALL videos get tangled in rights issues sooner or later! Like how GnR isn't on T2, etc. I love being wrong in cases like this.

Yup, you're absolutely right. Every single featurette is on the 8th disc. I wonder if the other films will contain the remaining featurettes.

That would be cool, I could live with that.

I could have sworn I read that not everything from the maze was in the index.

Every featurette of any real substance is included in the index, it's just a few short novelty clips that aren't. Stuff like Freddy hosting MTV, outtakes from one of the sequels, music videos, etc.

This dropped back to $13.99 on amazon, so I went ahead and pre-ordered it, along with Chromeskull: Laid To Rest 2 on blu-ray.

Both of these will probably be cheaper in October during the Halloween sales, but whatever.

I already had this release pre-ordered, and was really looking forward to it, but it seems I will be skipping this release...

A full series boxset (1-6 + New Nightmare) is getting released on BD in the UK (October)!

I'm sure the US will get it as well, around the same date.

Awesome! Here's hoping for the US announcement soon.

Not a massive fan of the series, but fuck I'm totally down for a blu ray boxset. Bring it on!!

Maybe, maybe not. Amazon does this with a lot of unreleased titles, it is just a notification if it ever becomes available.

It would be nice to get the rest of the series in blu-ray. Maybe Warner can convince Paramount to do the same thing with the Friday series.

I agree. Blu sets of Nightmare and Friday would be amazing.

I'm fairly confident we'll get these on blu-ray quite quickly. The Friday the 13th films with Paramount will take a while longer, but they were slow getting them on DVD so I wouldn't expect their methods to change now.
