Sept 27, Mill Creek will be finishing out the Gamera heisei trilogy!!! http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Gamera...Blu-ray/24752/
I really dig the artwork! There will also be special features on the disc. And for those who missed out on the first double feature release, Mill Creek is going to bundle both releases for a box set release: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Ga...Blu-ray/27237/ In somewhat related news, Mill Creek's release of the Daimajin films will be late October. |

Excellent news. I'll have to let go of my ADV release soon.

Fortunately the first double feature is selling so cheap I don't feel like I'm missing a deal with the three pack. The first two were great improvements over the SD DVDs. I'll be picking this up along with the Daimajin films for sure.

Wish every budget company had the quality of Mill Creek. Can't wait for this, haven't seen it in years and it's the best Kaiju film for my money since the glory days of the 60s. Can't wait for Daimajin, and hopefully if snatching up two ADV licenses is any indication, Yokai Monsters might be on the horizon as well.

Millcreek is offering replacements for the G3 blu-ray. There were issues with the subtitles. This is very cool of Millcreek to fix this! |

Are all of the original batch screwed up? I watched quite a bit of mine the other day and didn't notice a problem.

All the discs were messed up. If you've seen the film enough times, it's not as annoying. I'm not sure how to tell via retail discs if it's the new pressing. I guess we'll find out when replacement copies arrive.

I re-watched a great deal of my disc tonight and almost can't be bothered to worry about this. The subtitles seemed pretty decent to me.
Practically speaking, how is everyone going to send in their covers? Tri-folded in a business envelope? Because if they send back the same folded-up cover I am going to be annoyed by the folds. If I have to find some big envelope (and determine the correct postage, and pay same) to avoid folding the cover, I will be annoyed. Also, I am annoyed that I have to wonder about this. |

You'll receive new artwork (stated on that page in the above link). I'll be folding mine up in a standard envelope so I can use a single stamp.

They added that info later--thanks a lot for pointing it out. I would not otherwise have thought to go back and check out the link again.

Got my replacement today. They sent a newly shrink-ed wrapped BD. I checked out some of the movie and the subs seem to be fine. I did notice during the bonus features, the font size of the subs is HUGE! lol Probably about 3 times the size of the normal subs. I doubt Mill Creek will fix this, but honestly, it's not that big of a deal. I'm glad the got the subs on the movie correct and that's what really matters.

Havenīt bothered to buy this set yet, since Mill Creek donīt send any replacement discs to Europe, and Iīm worried that I will get stuck with a faulty disc of part 3.
Has anyone bought this from Amazon or some other store lately and can confirm that they have the new corrected batch in stock?

If you buy new, you should be fine. If you buy used, who knows. Walmart is currently selling a trilogy box set for under $10. Not sure if Amazon has that version, but that set should include the new version.

What was wrong with part 3? I have the set which I bought last year and haven't noticed any issues.
