Why are you so sure? Do you have an inside source at WB or something?
Im talking UK... never spoke about no US because there is no confirmation.

Still, even with the UK set, after shipping, for being in the US and having already purchased the first film, it's cheaper for me to go with the double features and I doubt that will change two weeks after the set is released.

Well I just might give in and order the UK set. It'll cost me $47Au all up with free shipping. That sounds pretty good to me.

Oh and Grim, don't forget this set comes with a bonus disc. So well it may be cheaper to get double features, you're potentially not going to get all the bonus stuff.

I'm not so worried about bonus stuff as I am that WB will pull a Paramount, that they will release this double feature & tank the rest.

There may be a bonus disc, but if you already have the NOES dvd boxset and the two disc documentary that came out, I don't really see what more they could put out that is new.

Not to mention the Infinifilm version of Part 1 that came out a few years ago.

I still have my Nightmare Encyclopedia and the 4-hour doc. With those things and the features on the blu-ray for the first film, I honestly don't know what else they could produce that wouldn't be a retread of what's already been said in the past seventeen years since the last film was released.

EDIT: rxfiend nailed it before I did!

If that ends up being the case, I will accept defeat and buy the box set.

Yes but you do get two episodes of Freddy's Nightmare's here (not that they're good, and why not the first). For me, if I had to just get the double features the shipping would kill me.

I have that horrible show on my PS3's hard drive so I can watch it for giggles whenever. I can definitely understand wanting to get the movies in one unit to save on shipping though. If I couldn't get free shipping, I would go with the box set too.

Yea I have it downloaded on my PC Haven't watched all of them but I know there's a few good episodes here and there.

I was pretty happy when I found out the UK had free shipping to Australia on orders over 25eur

Kind of odd they didn't include the first episode as that's a prequel for the series.

It make some sense because the majority of Australian DVDs are PAL.
