Re-Animator Coming To Blu-Ray!

UNFILMABLE.COM: "According to Scream Queen Barbara Crampton, via twitter, a Re-Animator Blu-ray is about six months out! There are no details currently, but the heads-up came from producer Brian Yuzna..."

This is good news, is it coming from Anchor Bay or Image?

That's what I was thinking but with the way they're losing titles, you never know

I hope it's not Image - they're not interested in doing anything other than throwing whatever print is around on a disc, calling it a Blu-ray and moving on. That's just not good enough. I have plenty of good DVDs lying around that will do just fine.

Yeah that's why I wanted to know who was doing it, I still have the Millennium Edition from Elite Entertainment.

I doubt Anchor Bay has any interest in releasing this, since they've pretty much moved on to shittier things. Personally, I hope somebody like Blue Underground or Lionsgate end up putting it out, then at least there's a better chance it won't end up fucked-in-the-ass like the recent Image horror BDs.

Since it looks like Image's Evil Dead 2 Blu-ray will be superior I'm not going to be so quick to judge. Anchor Bay has mostly dropped the ball on Blu-ray and I would be crossing my fingers just as much for AB as I would for Image.

Synapse Films on the other hand, I wish they pretty much did all genre releases.

Lionsgate is putting out the upcoming Evil Dead 2 BD, not Image.

Day frickin' 1!

This has been on the top of my WTB list for Blu-ray ever since I knocked NOTLD off the list by buying it.
