I rented it the other week, just because I always found the Wyricks true story interesting back when it aired on Unsolved Mysteries.
The film was actually fairly decent, with a few creepy parts. But half the plot of the film is pure invented fiction and it has little overall to do with the true story it's based upon. I'd recommend renting it first. It's rather stupid that they released it under the "Haunting in Connecticut" header, because it has absolutely nothing to do with the previous film or the state of Connecticut. Lionsgate should just do A Haunting in Connecticut 3: Ghosts of Zimbabwe next.

I thought it was awful, it just seemed to exist, nothing remotely enjoyable, a lazy sorry excuse for a film/sequel.

Tried to watch it twice, fell asleep twice. I thought it was awful, at least the first had a couple of chilling moments and a decent cast.
