Oh man, that cover art is shit. Why not keep it simple and elegant:

you mean simple and elegant with boring fonts, generic backgrounds, no real imagery from the film, a barely modified silhouette of Bruce Campbell stolen from THE EVIL DEAD's ad campaign, and the highlighted "starring roles" of Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi?

This new cover tells you exactly what the movie is about, without false advertising, and without giving away the identity of the killer (remember the Paramount VHS Cover?) This movie has never had great artwork associated with it, and I for one, think this is a very appropriate and fun cover art.

Gotta agree with FulciLuvver there...The cover art actually is a great concept, but I think it would have benefited immensely if it had been drawn or painted by a commissioned artist.

Can't wait for this.

i like the cover art, if they were to remove the hand in the packaging, then i think it would be great, that one bit looks a little to tacky.
i have the special edition dragon dvd and it features longer work print gore footage of a few key scenes including the infamous bandsaw sequence, it looks like that footage will be on here so that's an upgrade for me.

Ummm.....yeah?

But seriously, I didn't say the artwork I posted was perfect, but it's still better than that atrocity Synapse whipped up for Intruder. I say this in all seriousness--it may be the single worst looking cover art I've ever laid eyes on.

I agree with tropical marsh. That is shitty cover art. I don't think the DVD cover art is anything special but the blu-ray is just cheesy and looks to be aimed at 12 year olds.

Yup, I kinda dig this cover art. While I would have preferred the original poster art (Similar to this one, but it depicts a cashier's hand sliding some body parts through the checkout), it's light years better than the original Wizard DVD cover...

REALLY pumped for this release.
