I've never seen a Rollin movie before. There are several on Netflix Streaming; any recommendations? (I don't care to blind-buy any of the BDs.)

I wouldn't think of Rollin as a good blind buy. I've only seen Fascination but it was very good. But then I think anything with Brigitte Lahaie would be good too.

So I would also check out The Grapes of Death (1978) and The Night of the Hunted (1980). I hear Grapes of Death is especially good.

IMO, SHIVER OF THE VAMPIRES or REQUIEM FOR A VAMPIRE would be the best place to start.

Got mine from Diabolik already. REQUIEM is a tremendous improvement over the Image R1 disc.

Yeah...I saw diabolik was shipping them...I didn't feel like canceling my Amazon pre-orders. Nice...really can't wait for Requiem.

Do any of these have slip covers?I got Demoniacs today and it didn't have one.

I had the first 5 pre-ordered and none of them had a slip when they arrived, neither did Virgin Witch or The Asphyx.

I also got the first five Rollin blu-rays and none of them had the slip cover. Same for Asphyx as well.

FYI seems deep discount has a lot of these for around 13.00 - not sure if anyone has seen a better price or not - at that price I may pick up Shiver of the Vampires and see if I enjoy that enough to blind buy any others

Finally watched Shiver of the Vampires - and gotta say I really enjoyed it - this was more to my liking then Living Dead Girl - The other blu I blind bought was Fascination so I hope I like that just as much

Their March slate was already announced with NUDE FOR SATAN and ZETA ONE. I'm guessing the Rollins got pushed back a month or two.

I take it Synapse lost Grapes of Death then though? That kinda sucks, I'd trust them more then Redemption. Although their latest products have been good.
