Only ONE horror movie on in Feb, and I can't recall what it is. Academy Award month, which is why there are no genre flicks on TCM in Feb.

Bumping, unfortunately a little late for tonight's J-fest. Missed Godzilla and Rodan, but Mothra is on right now. Uncut, in the original Japanese. Apparently this is not easy to find on DVD? I do have it on laserdisc, uncut, widescreen, original language, but unfortunately no subtitles.

Later on is The H-Man (never seen), the old standby Hausu, then something called Empire of Passion

MOTHRA is a lot easier to find on DVD than it used to be.

I did see that available, although it kind of looks like one of those fly-by-night operations. Not quite like the two-disc editions of Gojira that have come out recently, although I could be wrong.

Even without the subtitles, the LD of Mothra is bad-ass. It's a gatefold cover, with many behind-the-scenes photos of the Mothra models they used.

Funny when watching it tonight, I realized that Mothra doesn't even show up (in moth form) till the final 15 minutes of the movie.
