Since Warner is involved there is at least some hope that they will be region free (unlike Quatermass and the Pit....dammit). Keep your fingers crossed.

Sounds like we're finally going to get to see the BFI restoration of (Horror of) Dracula. Thanks for the good news.

Let me tell you, if Dracula is region b locked, I'm buying a region free player.

Exciting news, looking forward to eventually seeing all of these. Dracula and Frankenstein are at the top of my list. Very glad to see The Devil Rides Out and Plague of the Zombies were also restored.

i wonder what "back to black" is? that and the behind the scenes footage appear to be the only new features. Not much of an upgrade on that front. looks like it all comes down to the quality of the presentation, which is fine. it sure would be swell if it were region free. if not, and if the presentation is worth it, its titles like these that will make it hard to resist being region free myself.

Got my preorders in for Dracula Prince of Darkness, Plague of the Zombies, and Reptile.

Can't wait for these, since the Quatermass and the Pit BD looked about a million times better than any Hammer film I've ever seen on DVD, from any distributor.

I got e-mails from Amazon UK yesterday telling me my expected delivery date for Reptile and Plague of the Zombies has been pushed back to May 15-19.

I'd wait to buy it though.

The initial pressings of the Blu-ray have poor audio sync problems. The release has even been removed from Amazon UK, but Studio Canal are supposedly issuing a corrected re-release.

Any idea if the audio problems were fixed on the Dracula: Prince of Darkness Blu-ray from Studio Canal? I held off on this UK release and the US release from Millennium.
