That may be true for many films, but Anchor Bay still currently holds the US release rights for Demons & Demons 2.

It doesn't surprise me that Arrow hasn't responded to any of our posts over there. It is incredibly frustrating though.
My thoughts about the lacking of a valid response from Arrow after I put the photos and pitching some ideas is simple... they are discussing for a valid argument to show their teory against mine.

In the beginning, Arrow was a very cool label who listened to their fans, while now, besides still posting things on theirs forums, they just don´t seem do care our ideas or think of them as valid...

Just see the example...

From next August on, they will release their editions in Limited (2000 units) and Unlimited formats... What will be the difference besides the usual stuff??? Well, the difference is that the Limited will be only 2000 units, while the unlimited will only have 2 cover choices, an extra DVD (double play), and will be cheaper.

I think that´s stupid because besides the 2 extra cover choices (don´t give a damn about that), the Unlimited will have more things (extra DVD) and will cost less... also, the Unlimited cases will be light grey (beautiful).

Thank god! Unlimited for me from now on.

this is getting crazy confusing with all the effin editions being released. I've personally gone from pre-orders of a preposed region free blu-ray to region b, to dvd, back to L.E. region b blus with posters and comics to L.E. region b double feature steel books w/o paper extras and now the big stink is mono only soundtracks. I personally hope that if the sound is mono it's the american track as I love that one. I really want the comic, but the steel book is cool and is cheaper overall (even shipping)

Exactly, I actually went region free (for blu) for this release, but because of the locking maybe there is good reason to think that these extras might be used for a US edition and I bet money that the US edition will feature the euro soundtrack in stereo lol.

Heads up that the SteelBook of Demons 1 & 2 is down to £16.99 right now at Amazon UK. Minus the VAT, it works out to £17.24 shipped (roughly about $28) to the US.

The seperate Blu-ray releases are currently £28.98 for both.

Even though that is a pretty good deal, I'll be buying the separate releases as I like the packaging and they will match my current Arrow blus.

HMV.com is the same. I wasn't aware the Amazon price had gone down so I ordered from there.

i had to bite at that price, i know how you guys in the US feel, i'm a UK resident so know all about editions not being released here, although i have to say we have been spoilt with the blu ray releases recently which is nice, but I have always been region free for the inveitable US only releases, region free from day one DVD and Blu-Ray.

Here's part of a comment on Amazon.co.uk about the Arrow Blu-ray:

"My review, is specifically about this Steelbook version of the films. Sadly, this release has a couple of issues fans should be made aware of:
1) Partway through DEMONS, there is a break in the film, and an on-screen title comes up that says "End Of First Half", before continuing on with the rest of the film. This moment occurs, as the cinemagoers destroy the projection booth, and stop the film they've been watching from being projected. This issue does NOT exist in other versions of DEMONS I've seen, so I am a little shocked about this moment appearing in this release. It really breaks the tension of the moment, and it's a shame that Arrow have decided to include this in their version of the film. There's no real point or purpose, and it takes viewers out of the enjoyment of the movie."

I guess we'll know in a few days if it's a widespread problem. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Demons-Steel...5125402&sr=1-2

A lot of Italian films had intermissions during their theatrical run. This is probably why that card appears there.

That intermission title was on a lot of european VHS of the movie... my country had one... a great nostalgic move for me.
