As long as they include the original audio I dont mind the delay- if that gets pulled last minute then I will be unhappy

There's talk over at the blu-ray.com forums under the UK section that this may be indeed be "region free". People are saying that when you first put the disc in you will get a prompt saying that it is playable in Region B players only, but then hitting the "Top Menu" button will just bypass that prompt and start playing and this was confirmed on three different blu-ray brand players. Very cool! I still don't have a region free player, but really wanted this. Sounds like some of the extras won't work, but the movie and doc do. Those are most important for me. The movie playing being the key thing obviously. I haven't seen it with the original audio in many years, and although a seemingly small detail, I'm looking forward to hearing it again.

yea mine is on its way too - along with Demons 1/2 steelbook and Picnic at Hanging Rock. Dispatched a couple days ago and expected arrival date is a week from today but usually shows up sooner then that. If anyone has watched it already can they comment on the picture quality?

Got mine today, won't have time to watch till tomorrow though.

I thought they used the same source material as the MGM release but doing their own print, or something to that effect, am I wrong?
