Check out the short film I created, titled Road Kill
I thought I would throw this up here for those that are interested. It's less than 5 min. so it shouldn't take up too much of your time.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gugnfmh4de0 This was shot during the h24 Hamilton 24 Hour Film Festival, where you have 24 hours to write, shoot and edit the movie together. The actor is a friend who has never acted before and the score was created by another friend of mine again for his first time. The script, shooting, and editing were all done by my friend Noel and myself. It definitely isn't perfect but I think it turned out all right considering the time constraints. It is a homage (Or rip off if you prefer haha) to my love of 80s horror films. These were the three things that needed to be included: Prop - Skipping Rope Location - Under A Table Line of Dialogue - "May The Force Be With You." Thanks for checking it out and feel free to leave me some feedback, good or bad. Last edited by spawningblue; 06-13-2012 at 11:55 PM. |

Dang, spawningblue, I thought that was very, very well done. Congratulations. You definitely have talent and know the genre tropes well. It looked superb throughout, too--great lighting.

Pretty entertaining and quite enjoyed the ending. Good work under the time constraints.

Thanks for the kind words guys! It was was really tough but a lot of fun. I want to make another short film later on in year but one without the time constraints and time limit (This had to be less then 5 min.).
Yeah they have 48 hr. ones around here in Toronto. I think that would be even harder trying o stay up that long unless you had enough people to take sleep breaks. That and they would probably expect a lot more from you in 48 hours. |
