Re-animator, society, from beyond and basket case trilogy UK blu rays
Exciting news from a poster on Cult labs who's had word from second sight films, the company that brought us the excellent edition of ROTLD, that reanimator and its first sequel, from beyond, society, basket case trilogy will all be coming to UK blu ray soon. No other details yet but it is thought all or some of them could be steel book editions. Reanimator hasjustbeen resubmitted to the BBFC.

I can pretty much guarantee they'll be region b locked, cause I don't have that kind of luck.

The term "Refurbished" worries me. Does Best Buy offer any extended warranty on things like that?

I had a region-free DVD player but the drawback was a lot of times I would want to take my movies to someone else's house. Not much fun when you can't share your good stuff w/ others without A.) making them come to your place or B.) disconnecting your set-up and asking if you can hook your region-free player to their TV.
I figure not owning a region-free blu-ray player also helps my budget. I would love to have some of these titles on blu though.

Sounds like great news, as long as they're not cut versions of the films.

Awesome news! Now I just need them to release Halloween 3, 4, and 5 which are apparently going to be region A locked.

Steelbook versions would be cool. I just got a region-free Blu-ray player so now I don't have to worry about incompatibility. I hope Bride of Re-Animator will be an SE. I never got to buy that Pioneer DVD with the extras.

Interested to see an eventual bonus feature list. I know Synapse is planning on putting out Basket Case 3, but their current disc of part 2 is pretty bare. Depending on what is included in these versions, I might bite.

A quick look into the BBFC site will show that. BBFC already has Second Sight listings for Basket Case films and Re-Animator. Second Sight website already lists a steeelbook for the "Basket Case Trilogy". |

The only quirk is that it defaults to subtitles on for DVDs, but it plays anything. |
