Full Moon Releases Slew Of Remastered Flicks! - Page 2

If anyone has a Dollar General store near by, check it out for Full Moon blu-rays. I've seen Puppetmaster and Subspecies at quite a few of them for $10 each.

Regarding this news, I can't wait to see PM2 without that video problems that plague the last part of the film (looks like the VHS tracking is out of whack).

Not only that, but it looked like it was taken from a PAL VHS.

Good news. Their transfers are somewhat underwhelming but I found the Blu-ray's to be a noticeable improvement. I got their original trunk set which they replaced with another whole trunk set when it turned out not to have the 5.1 audio track. However since both appear to be prone to rot I'll be getting the new 3 pack when it's cheap enough.

Hopefully Dark Angel is in due but they posted that for free on YouTube not that long ago so I doubt they see much money in that title.

Yeah they control Tourist Trap now and released the DVD. I'd imagine that one is it the pipeline as it's very popular.

I have the Full Moon blu-ray of the first Puppet Master, and while it looks adequate, the quality is still not so hot. I haven't seen the Arrow UK disc yet, but supposedly it is leaps and bounds ahead in quality.

I'd say keep the pre-order, and grab II and III from Full Moon.

Hopefully these don't ROT, like the old Puppet Master Blu-ray did.

I'll bet the UK Blu-ray will still be superior to what FM releases over here.

I wouldn't expect a reply. They never replied to anyone via Facebook or emails when asked about the previous Blu-ray rotting problem.

Going to order that PM 3 DVD set soon, especially for the remastered editions of 2 & 3.

Even sweeter is PM 3 is going to have a commentary track. By far my favorite Full Moon and PM film.

The UK blu is from 88 Films not Arrow

May just keep the pre-order then
