Really? I always LOVED the last part of the film which made the first part bearable. Nancy Hendrickson was so on-point.

Got my copy yesterday -- very happy with it. The picture quality obviously blows away the older, 1" tape-based Troma DVD. The audio commentary is carried over, but the rest of the supplements are new. There's an intro by the director at his bread shop that's pretty funny, along with an Easter Egg intro by an AD / Gopher. Ten minutes of newly-discovered Super 8 behind-the-scenes footage is present with commentary; it mostly concentrates on make-up and fx tests and is very cool to see. Eli Roth discusses the film, and gives a pretty intelligent reading of its themes. Darren Lynn Bousman (director of the surprisingly good "remake") also pops up for a short chat with Charles Kaufman talking about his love for the original. The original theatrical trailer is also present, now transferred in HD. For some reason, the tv spot plays when you first load the disc. If you're a fan of this film, this blu ray is well worth picking up.
