Iīll be damned, this actually looks promising.
![]() BUT, I saw some terrible CGI gore in there as well ![]() Itīs not too hard and expensive to just make a fake arm and chop the finger/hand of THAT instead of doing it with CGI. Weīve done it on a micro budget shortmovie we did a few years back, and weīre not even professionals. That shot with the ear being cut off also have a cartoony splash to it. I hope the CGI FX in the trailer are in an early state, and that most of it will still be practical gore, as some of it was in the trailer. Other than that, as I said, this looks like old school fun

Have not seen the much maligned part III but the other four parts were ok with me and lots of fun. A good franchise, I'm in for this one.

Thereīs 5 movies in this franchise, and you say youīre in for this one, the 5th. So then we have 4 left, and you say you didnīt saw part 3. So, of all 5 movies, we take 2 that you didnīt saw and we are left with 3 movies left. If we are left with 3 movies, I donīt understand when say the other 4 parts were OK. |

I'm looking forward to this sequel. The trailer is fun and that review is really good. 3 was awful, 4 was entertaining... I have hope for this entry.

I had pre-ordered part 5 but then got cold feet after looking at my credit card bill. I figured I should wait till it drops in price a bit...but I kind of want to have it so I can watch it in October!! Thinking about pre-ordering it again.
![]() I've enjoyed all but #3 so far and have em all on blu ray now. Shame not to complete the set. |

Looking forward to checking this out. I loved the original movie , part 2 was pretty fun, part 3 was pretty bad (although I did enjoy it more the second time I watched it), part 4 was fun and pretty good, so I am ready to go with part 5. They keep getting more gore, more crazy kills, often with more nudity, and a bit more over the top as they go, so it should be a fun entertaining flick at least (especially enjoyable in October).

I love the first one (Eliza Dushku and Emmanuelle Chriqui)
and the second one was awesome too, but my God, part 3 was HORRIBLE. Lousy characters I care nothing about (Am I really supposed to be rooting for prison convicts? I want them to get slaughtered by the backwoods hillbillies!), an ugly forest location (the locations in parts one and two are beautiful by comparison), and cheap CGI gore. Part 4 was a huge improvement over 3, but nowhere near the level of 1 and 2. Bring on part 5.

Fun flick! The deaths were mean spirited, gory and for the most part practical.

Just saw the movie about an hour ago, and I had a blast
![]() I hated part 3 and 4, and I had no hope at all for part 5, especially since it had the same director. BUT, it seems he have listened to the comments, since this one have MUCH better gore, and 95% of it is practical. And boy is this one gory! Especially a scene at a soccer field made my day. 80:s old-school gore!! ![]() Also the characters was much more interesting in this one, and you actually cared for a few of them. Doug Bradly as the main badguy is wonderfully evil and a great addition to the film. The series is back on track, and Iīm actually hoping for a part 6 now.

Wrong Turn 5 sounds Awesome!! I have all of the Wrong Turn Movies on DVD, so I will be picking this one up too! The first Film and the Second one are my Favorites! I love the first one for many reasons, Eliza Dushku is one of them! The Second Wrong Turn is Gory as hell, that Opening Death Scene is a Shocker right down to that Texas Chainsaw inspired 'Dinner Table' Scene!! Nasty Film!! 3 and 4 had some Cool moments and I didn't dislike 3 as much as others did, and 4 was pretty mean spirited in some spots!! Bring on Part 5!! This one looks like it could be one of the Best Sequels in the Series yet!!
