DING, DING, DING! Humongous is the winner. I've only watched the opening so far, but that is definitely the scene I was thinking of. That guys sweaty face sealed the deal.

I'm guessing the multiple dogs I remembered were the ones caged, but the way the camera shifts around during the attack doesn't help much in the way of keeping how many are actually involved.

Startide, you are 100% correct with the effectiveness of that scene. Hell, I remembered it after 25 years!

Thanks to everyone who took a guess!

Assuming you bought the dvd. How is the quality of the transfer? Cause I remember the movie being very dark at times, was wondering how clear it is on dvd.

Bags - it's much better than the VHS. It's not as crisp in spots as we may like it to be (almost like it's zoomed causing pixelation - especially during the boat scene when everyone is hanging out inside it before the wreck), but you can actually see what's going on now. Well worth the purchase.

HellYouSay - where were you getting the school bus scene from? I bet you cross referenced Final Terror.

Thanks, I was wishing for a better transfer & it sounds like it's an improvement. Probably pick it up now.

I wonder if he got the school bus thing from Nickelodeon. He did say he was switching channels around during watching Turkey TV.

You can't Do That on Television with all the kids getting off the bus dancing like idiots.

Mutilated, I'm guessing it was just a mixed up memory. Either something we were flipping through that night or something I jumbled up from another memory. I'll still hunt down Final Terror to check it out.

Baggio, I still haven't gotten past that scene yet, but that one does look pretty good.

Well, I may have to wait on The Final Terror. Cheapest is 27 bucks on Amazon. I'm not ready to drop that on a blind buy.

To be perfectly honest you're better off just buying the VHS - the DVD is a poor VHS port.

You can also get it under it's alternate title - Carnivore which also is a VHS rip..

Here's a cheap auction...

If you have an FYE near, check the bargain DVD section for Final Terror. When I ran my store we had tons of them, the same one that's "selling" on Amazon for $26 used and $50+ new. Back then I think they were $7.99. In fact we had a ton of the crappy DVDs that company (905 Entertainment) distributed... Poor Pretty Eddie, Bog, Warrior of the Lost World, etc..
