A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 - 35mm Screening (August 3, 2012)

It's true! Thanks to the guys over at DeadPit radio.

Got my tickets already. Can't wait! Never got to see 4 in theaters. However, Nightmare 5 was my first R-Rated movie experience (at the age of 9!)

That's cool, but I want the damn movie on blu-ray. I don't care about 5-7 which is why I didn't import the UK set (that and I own the first three on blu already). I saw this in theaters several times. I can't believe it was 1988. Damn, I'm getting old.

Not to nitpick, but why photoshop Freddy from part 2 onto the Dream Master poster?

I'm starting to think that the Nightmare 2/3 blu didn't sell well since most were waiting for an eventual set. If that's the case, then Warner probably won't release the rest of the films or a complete set. If only New Line stayed independent...

seen it in august of 88// remember really digging it at the time.. but by this point. Freddy was too much of a comedian . but wow. these rare 35 mm prints are so cool now.. I really would rather see old 80's horror 35mm prints that shit like dark knight rises and all the crap out today...

Don't piss off the batman fanboyz dude. I humbly agree today's movies are crap. I'd rather go see a The Exterminator in glorious 32mm print.
