That's most of the stuff I have on show in my room. I want to clean it up a little more and put some more posters up.

Yea I tend to download things I haven't seen and only buy what I really like. If I'm not going to watch it again I don't see the point. Plus it's saved me from buying some dreadful films.

Ya I just needed a compact collection of films I will watch over and over. No point in owning 4000++++ flicks unless if all you do is watch movies. I love movies but not to the point of owning thousands of them. As far as the horror genre goes I couldn't even remotely come up with a list of 1000 good horror flicks. Especially when the majority of the films in the horror genre are complete and utter shit.

Yea I agree. The only difference is I enjoy the old corny and sleazy movies.

Oh you would be surprised. I could come up with 1000 easy. Here is a top 500 list. There aren't many on there that I would say aren't at least quality. Whether there are to my personal tastes are not.

http://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/to...horror+movies/

plus there are many more that I enjoy that aren't on there.

I have about 1250 and I would honestly be hard pressed to trim it down by 100 or even 50 without shedding a tear ... or maybe i'm just obsessed and need help

Here is one such existing thread: http://horrordvds.com/vb3forum/showthread.php?t=41057

95% of my collection is still packed away in moving boxes... I had moved back in May, but the house I'm in has been under going renos throughout the summer to refinish the entire basement, and unfortunately that process is still not done yet.

I love the two uncommon posters paired together in this shot.

Back in the 90's I went to several Fangoria conventions in Los Angeles and I picked up two different sizes of the Critters figure/doll. I ended up selling one on Ebay.

Well at least you admit you have a problem hahahaa. However your not alone I know several folks who have 4000++ collections. I think once you get passed 200 you have a problem. Where and when will anyone ever find the time to watch 4000 movies? If I started now I would be 147 years old by the time I finished watching them. I honestly don't believe in owning that many movies I will more then likely never watch but once or twice. A real shame when we die we can't take all our stuff with us to the tomb.
