"Figured we might as well announce the horror titles we recently licensed. They are DEMONOID, RAW FORCE and THE BEES."

Next up on the docket, the RUNAWAY NIGHTMARE limited edition Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack will be up for pre-order pretty soon both on the VS site as well as through DiabolikDVD.com
And the film will be hitting select theatres starting in June and continuing over the summer. The Royal in Toronto, The Alamo Ritz in Austin and The New Beverly in LA have all booked screenings!
Director Mike Cartel will be appearing with the film in Austin on July 8th!
Limited edition Blu-ray/DVD combo confirmed for Runaway Nightmare. And yes, the limited edition VHS will be coming around the same time (I'll have info about that soon).

As a reminder, we stockpile around 200 units to sell in person at conventions. The remaining 800 will be sold exclusively through DiabolikDVD.com and VinSyn.com.

Raw Force, Demonoid and The Bees sounds like my cup of tea!

i've read that Demonoid has 2 different versions (American and Mexican), will both be included?

This release will be exclusively available at DiabolikDVD.com, here on our website and at select conventions until they are sold out. We’ll be at Cinema Wasteland, Rock and Shock and a few others TBD. Note: if you miss out on this limited Blu-ray, RUNAWAY NIGHTMARE will always be available as a regular edition DVD.

After discovering a woman buried alive, two Death Valley worm farmers are kidnapped by an all-female cult of gun runners who, after making the men into their sex slaves, force them to assist in a plan to steal a suitcase full of platinum from the mafia. Combining black comedy with elements of horror, action, thriller, and surrealist cinema, director/writer/producer/editor/star Mike Cartel’s (Pets, Bitter Heritage) RUNAWAY NIGHTMARE stands as one of the most fiercely unique works of outsider/cult cinema to emerge from the 1970s and 80s. Also featuring a co-starring performance from Georgia Durante, author of The Company She Keeps and crewed by Rowdy Harrington (director of Road House) and Daryn Okada (cinematographer of Mean Girls).
Director: Mike Cartel
94 minutes / 1982 / Color / 1.85:1

Features Include:
+ Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack | Region Free | 16:9 Anamorphic | DTS-HD Mono
+ Scanned and Restored in 4k from 35mm original negatives
+ Commentary track with director Mike Cartel and co-star Mari Cartel
+ Alternate VHS scenes

I realize Vinegar Syndrome owns their own scanning equipment and handles their restorations in-house, but it's still mind-boggling that they offer up full 2K/4K scans and restorations for the oddest of oddities, while major production studios are licensing out "HD" masters from the stone-age for a multi-million dollar production or are allowing an A-list film from Hollywood's golden age to simply fade into nothingness.

I was blown away by the PQ on Punk Vacation. Hell even the DVD looked stunning.

They do great work.

And I think the original cover art they've done is actually more stylish than Criterion (just look at Massage Parlor Murders and Telephone Book).

The Telephone Book is actually the original poster/marketing artwork.
