I've done that in the past with a few OOP titles I own (though never for that high).
My mentality is that I want the movie and would like to keep it, but if somebody else wants it that much more, then they're more than welcome to it. |

FYI - Death Ship Blu is $16.47 through Deep Discount right now. I ordered that with the Halloween III Blu which was $19.80 to get the free shipping, but also added one of those 10% off codes they were handing out a while back which knocked off just about another $4. I haven't noticed any better prices for these yet.

I watched American Nightmare this past weekend. I have the VHS and always planned on watching it one day, but never got around to it. My mistake. This is one sleazy flick. I had no idea what I was in for…strippers, incest, lots of nudity, porno theaters, sex tapes, drug use, graphic sex scenes, transvestites, and some pretty good kills…this one was seedy as hell and it was all pretty fun to watch…it would probably make a great double feature with Maniac and/or Driller Killer. Man, who knew the Wizard of Gore could direct such a vile piece of trash himself? Awesome.
The transfer is more than watchable…I think the quality itself adds to the sheer dirtiness of the film. Yeah, you’re going to want to take a shower after this one. |

Loved AMERICAN NIGHTMARE. This was one gritty flick. Transfer was watchable but a weird green ring popped up around the edge of the frame every now and then. Sort of felt like I was watching the film through binoculars. It was probably some light being reflected off of the camera lens.
I passed on the DEATH SHIP DVD but grabbed Scorpion's other release, BABY SISTER, which I enjoyed very much. |
