I'm waiting for the following Facebook message from Twilight Time:
"In order to prevent any confusion regarding our upcoming release of "Christine" on blu-ray in March of 2013, we felt it was necessary to inform our customers of the change made by Sony for the films 30th anniversary. Cinematographer Donald Morgan felt that the films antagonist, a 1958 Plymouth Fury, wasn't modern enough for today's audience. By way of CGI, "Christine" will now be a 2011 Ford Focus. Director John Carpenter viewed the finished reimagining on his 125 inch 4K television and stated that it was "fantastic." -Ed

Thank you. I wasn't sure of the difference.

Harry Dean Stanton will also be replaced by Samuel Jackson to bring a fresher, urban feel to the film.

And of course, Christine will be blue, not red.

Calm down, guys. John Carpenter undoubtedly approved the changes.

Come on guys give Twilight Time a break. It's only been one transfer out of how many? A transfer I didn't mind actually and really they only get what Sony gives them. I still believe that Christine will look ans sound amazing. I know I'll be pre-ordering this.

I was just making light of the situation. I purchased Night of the Living Dead '90, and I will be purchasing Christine as well. I have no issue with Twilight Time whatsoever.

Same here, even though I hate what happened to NOTLD I look at it at as an anomaly. I expect nothing of the sort with Christine and will pre-order it (just one copy for myself, like all of them I want) as soon as they let me.

Sorry Buck didn't mean to jump on anybody's back, it's just I've seen alot of companies who do a good thing by bringing out this flims for the fans & then they get ragged on & either go private or just out right quit cause they don't see the point. Do I like the way Twilight Time does business... no but considering Sony don't give a flying fragg about their titles they seem to be the only game in town.
