I Just Finished Watching Alligator 1980 And At The End Of The Credits Two Trailers Are Shown One For The Wild Beasts Which I Own And It Is Kinda Cool And The Other One Looks Cool And Is
Called Screamtime Anyone Seen This And Is It Any Good?????????/

Never heard of em but Alligator frikkin rocks!! Forster can take any role in any movie and make it super serious and cool.

Anchor Bay UK has this released already don't they? with commentary from Forster and Sayles... I think.

Yep, and Alligator 2 in a 2 disc set, both with DTS. No idea why they don't put it out in R1, but the it was cheap to order online (bensons or sendit, can't remember which I got Alligator from).

I got Screamtime on vhs from Lightning. Good anthology. They better release Alligator over here with commentary and good extras, dammit!

Isn't it british? All I can remember of it is some story involving Punch and Judy and a bunch of british accents.

Why isn't this on DVD? Just done re-watching and Screamtime is a damn decent movie. I especially enjoyed the first two stories, great stuff.
According to user comments at IMDb, story #2 was recently remade as "Psychosis" and released by Lionsgate.
Anyway, Screamtime really needs to be on DVD (or Blu-ray).

Yeah, it's definitely not a bad little anthology. I transferred an old VHS a while back. I need to revisit. Interesting on the remake of story #2. I actually already have that in my BlockBuster que, but didn't realize it was ripped off from this. It's currently unavailable right now though.

Out of all three Screamtime stories I thought #2 had the most potential for a movie on its own. Clever plot that had me fooled (again).

As I recall SCREAMTIME was created by shooting a silly wrap around segment in New York and splicing it on to three British short subjects.One segment involving a haunted house is quite good,the others are mixed bags.Uneven but worth a look as a curio or if you've seen CREEPSHOW,the DARKSIDE movie and all of the Amicus anthologies a million times and want something different.

I finally watched this one, it is available on Instant Netflix (fullscreen standard-definition). The second story was terrific, but the rest was a huge bore. Watch the second story, but skip the rest!

Agreed, the 2nd segment is literally one of the only good Ghost themed anything's I've seen in the entire horror genre.

The 3rd has a little tension, that's it.

The 1st is complete garbage.

Add to that, the movie is incredibly cheap. So right there you have your answer why it's never been released on DVD. It's THIS close to looking like it was shot on video.
