CONTEST #3: When in Rome, Win like the Romans!
In its heyday, Italy was king of horror cinema, with visionaries like Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci and Mario Bava hammering out horror after horror to fan delight the world over. Relive the glory days with 4 new Blu-rays courtesy of BLUE UNDERGROUND. We've got a couple gialli, a nunsploitation pic and a comic adaptation that's kind of all things in between.[/b]
![]() In its heyday, Italy was king of horror cinema, with visionaries like Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci and Mario Bava hammering out horror after horror to fan delight the world over. Relive the glory days with 4 new Blu-rays courtesy of BLUE UNDERGROUND. We've got a couple gialli, a nunsploitation pic and a comic adaptation that's kind of all things in between. You can win by telling us not just what your favorite Italian horror film is (we've done that before), but instead what your favorite Italian horror movie title is. They've had some long ones (You're Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key...) and some short ones (Shock!), but they've sure had a lot of memorable ones. What's your favorite?
Make a single post in this thread telling us what your favorite Italian horror movie title is and you'll be entered in the draw to win. Winners will be randomly selected based upon all the posts in this thread. Ruffle your PLUMAGE, dig DEEP and state your CASE for your favorite Italian title now!

Hmmmm... The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave sounded so cool to me back in the day, so I'll stick with that one.
I enter these contests not so much to win, but to see just how many times over a decade I can't.

Twitch of the Death Nerve is, in my opinion, the best movie title ever, so I pick that.

Long: Dance Steps on the Blade of a Razor (the literal English translation of Death Carries a Cane's original Italian-language title)
Short: Torso

I always liked the title (and the poster art) "Una Farfalla con le Ali Insanguinate" = Bloodstained butterfly. Simple yet poetic.

Anthropophagus (Grim Reaper). Maybe not the best italian horror ever, but it is my favorite mainly because it was my first italian horror movie so it holds a dear spot for me. I have not seen too many italian horror flicks so with my limited viewing I would say anthropophagus.

Best title for me is one of the prizes...Strip Nude for Your Killer. Doesn't get much more blatantly cool than that!
