Twitch of the Death Nerve and Hatchet for the Honeymoon, two Bavaria classics, are definitely my favorite titles... both great films too if not amongst my favorite giallos. Gotta give the edge to Twitch on title alone...

I might not be eligible as a mod, but I just wanted to throw out:
Forbidden Photos of a Lady Above Suspicion (only because Rhett already mentioned Your Vice is a......)

Blood and Black Lace.
I also love Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key, Hatchet for the Honeymoon, and A Blade in the Dark. |

Wow...favorite Italian horror film?! I don't even think I can narrow that down to a list of 10!
Bava, Argento, Fulci, D'Amato, Franco...how in the hell am I suppose to pick one film from the likes of those directors? Fuck it I won't!...I refuse to! But for the sake of the contest, I'll go with Stagefright. I love the direction Michele Soavi takes with this one. It starts off as a seemingly cheesy dance film, and then half way through it takes a total 180 and turns into this sort of gorgeous art house slasher flick. Just the imagery Soavi creates is downright stunning at times. I mean a killer wearing a giant owl head? How in the hell does he make that work? But he does. That accompanied with an incredibly elegant and tranquil score by Simon Boswell... And the ending to Stagefright is probably one of the most beautiful endings in Italian horror history ... I think Soavi really gives the likes of Argento and Bava a run for their money with this one. Great flick. |

City of the Living Dead. The Beyond is a close second.

I really like "You're Vice is a Locked Room and Only I have the Key" but considering it was in the contest rules itself, I will have to choose "A Lizard in a Woman's Skin".

I'll say Pieces (assuming it's European). That movie is so much fun to watch.
